Merry, happy, ho ho ho

Hello, everyone from near and far,
{
}
{
}Theres been a funny little behind-the-scenes battle going on here at Mama Cooks that I thought Id share with you.
{
}
{
}A couple of weeks ago I started getting an unusually large number of comments at the bottom of some of my stories. When someone wants to post something on my site, I have to approve it first. When I checked these comments out, most of them werent exactly family fare. I deleted them and forgot about them.
{
}
{
}But they kept coming. In fact, it got just a touch out of control. I contacted my web gurus, who posited that spambots (computer programs, not people) were trying to infiltrate the sacred ground of my Stories. My gurus waved their magic wand and made it so that only humans could try to post a comment. Problem solved, I thought, as things quieted down. For a day. Then my virtual nemeses returned, this time adding in friendly little notes in an attempt to get me to publish their comments: Nice site! I like it! (bad link here)
{
}
{
}There are people (halfway across the world, Im guessing) who are now returning to my site day after day, trying to post their nefarious links on Mama Cooks. Its kind of sad to think that this is how people spend their time. Of course its kind of funny, too.
{
}
{
}Anyway, as my holiday present to you, Id like to share two of my favorite attempted posts (sans links, of course). I love that the people who wrote them thought that a little (illiterate) flattery would be enough to get me to publish their links. To me, these comprise an offbeat ode to a brave new world  one where were all inextricably connected, for better or worse.
{
}
{
}And so, without further ado, the nameless, faceless winners of the first Mama Cooks Parasitic Poetry Contest are:
{
}
{
}So much ;) webmaster it like (porno link here)

{

{
}
{
}Finally, in the spirit of the season, I'd like to send each and every one of you most wishes for new love happy joy one-world year peace

}P.S. - For some reason, not all punctuation is coming through on this e-mail correctly. Almost all the apostrophes are gone, and a number of hyphens have disappeared. This drives me crazy, but by now I'm starting to get used to the kinks and quirks of life in Cyberspace. I'm sending it along anyway.
